Major League Wrestling top star Jacob Fatu is getting the match he wants.
MLW announced today that at it’s Slaughterhouse event on October 14th, Jacob Fatu will go one on one with pro wrestling great Minoru Suzuki. The event is scheduled to take place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Despite Minoru Suzuki not being signed to NJPW and works as a freelancer for numerous promotions, this bout with Jacob Fatu is being referred to as a match under the MLW/NJPW working agreement that MLW announced earlier this year. This will be the second match under that agreement, the first one saw KUSHIDA defeat Tony Deppen at MLW Fury Road.
Jacob Fatu called out Minoru Suzuki recently which prompted MLW make this first time ever match official.
MLW Slaughterhouse will have a double main event, with Jacob Fatu vs Minoru Suzuki as the first one announced.
