Lio Rush Retains IMPACT X Division Title At Victory Road
Moments ago, Lio Rush battled with Kushida, who won the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, which earned him a future shot at the X Division Title. Two weeks ago, Kushida decided to cash that In at Victory Road.
The match opened the main show of Victory Road.
Lio Rush went through the middle ropes and tried to hit Kushida on the outside, but Kushida caught him and turned it into a Hoverboard Lock.
Both competitors exchange low blows, and Rush ends up hitting a low blow on Kushida.
Immediately after this clip ends, Lio Rush goes to the top rope and hits a Final Hour to Kushida, who’s laid out in the middle of the ring.
Who will be Rush’s next opponent for the X Division Title? It’s likely Chris Sabin, but we’ll have to continue tuning into IMPACT every week to find out.
