Traci Brooks is NOT happy, and will be stepping back into the ring for the first time since December of 2011 when she lost to Madison Rayne in a singles match, and then a few days later teamed with Mickie James to take on Gail Kim and Madison Rayne, another match which Brooks would be on the losing end of.
In a new interview with WrestlingNews.Co, Kazarian said that Brooks is coming to fight as a pissed off wife at IMPACT 1000.
“Well, here’s the thing. My wife, while she’s not a wrestler anymore and she hasn’t been for over a decade, she’s always been a fighter as long as I’ve known her and she’s coming to fight. If people are expecting a technical masterpiece; no, she’s coming to fight as a pissed off wife. She’s coming to beat the hell out of [Alisha] We’re definitely on the same page, this isn’t what I would have wanted from the beginning. I didn’t mean for the wives to get involved, but here we are and sometimes you got to play the cards you’re dealt. We’re gonna play them and we’re going to beat the hell out of Eddie and [Alisha].”

On the 8/10 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, Alisha Edwards took on Jody Threat. Eddie Edwards was ringside with Alisha, and used a kendo stick to trip Threat from the outside when she hit the ropes
trying to land a move on Alisha.
This brought Frankie Kazarian down to ringside to neutralize Eddie, causing a distraction for Threat to pick up the victory. Post-match, Frankie grabbed the kendo stick from a laid-out Eddie and went to hit him with it. When he lifted the stick over his head, he nailed Alisha with the kendo stick in the head.
The following week, Eddie is backstage talking to Gia Miller about the status of Alisha after getting hit with the kendo stick last week. Eddie says she’s a badass and she’s fine, but he couldn’t let her come to the arena with Kazrian running around doing whatever the hell he wanted.
Kazrian interrupts saying that this is why he told his wife to stay at home cus nobody else should have to get hurt, and that why should just go their separate ways. Eddie says he isn’t doing that, so he suggests one more match where it all began – Killer Kowalski’s Wrestling school in Boston, Massachusetts. Frankie agrees.
The match is made official for Emergence, and the two square off.
Unbeknownst to Frankie, Alisha was there and caused a distraction, leading to Eddie hitting the Boston Knee Party in the back of the head and covering him for the victory.
Post-match, Frankie is standing at a table dedicated to Killer Kowalski, reflecting on his friend and teacher. Suddenly, Alisha attacks Kazarian from behind with a kendo stick. Edwards calls Kazarian a disappointment before shattering a picture frame over his head.
This leads to Frankie’s wife – former TNA Knockout Traci Brooks – challenging Alisha & Eddie to a match via video message against her and Frankie at IMPACT1000, saying that she’s not just a former Knockout, she’s a pissed off wife.
IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account later that day to make the match official.
The night before this match, Alisha has a match against at Trinity and a shot at her IMPACT Knockouts World Title at Victory Road. Alisha could potentially walk into this match as the NEW IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.
Will Traci let history from December of 2011 repeat itself and take a loss, or will she re-write history so she can go out on top as part of the winning team?
