WWE previously had to make a tough call and release AOP from their contracts, and neither member has made much noise in the pro wrestling business since then. That being said, Akam and Rezar are still in great shape, and it seems that they could be on their way back to the company.
Now, rumors have been swirling about the tag team being signed to WWE quietly in recent months and are awaiting debut. These reports have also stated that they could make their return to NXT instead of the main roster.
PWInsider.com now reports that Paul Ellering, who was the kayfabe reason for the team being in WWE, was spotted in Orlando, Florida ahead of tonight’s NXT. Now, they have also confirmed that The Authors Of Pain are in town for the event.
