The Rascalz Beat Subculture, Win IMPACT Tag Team Tites
Three weeks ago on the 8/3 episode of IMPACTonAXSTV, The Rascalz took on and defeated the team of Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham in the first round of the tag team tournament in which the winners would be moving on to fight the winners of ABC versus Rich Swann & Sami Callihan.
On the 8/10 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, Rich & Sami took the victory over ABC when the Good Hands decided to meddle in the match and attack Ace and Bey. Swann and Callihan advanced to the next round of the tag team tournament, putting them against The Rascalz last week on the 8/17 episode.
The Rascalz defeated Sami Callihan and Rich Swann on the 8/17 IMPACTonAXSTV episode when Callihan was setting Trey Miguel up for a Cactus Driver 97. Miguel dropped to the canvas and when Sami looked down, Miguel blasted him in the face with spray paint. The Rascalz double-teamed Callihan to pick up the victory.
The Rascalz felt they should’ve been part of the IMPACT Tag Team Title match at Slammiversary. Director of Authority Santino Marella thought otherwise, despite Wentz having defeated one half of the IMPACT Tag Team champions, Chris Bey, leading up to Slammiversary.
They finally won the IMPACT Tag Team Titles after they tried to cheat with spray paint to the face of , at which time ABC attempted to interfere to help Subculture…the Good Hands then maybe their way out and battled with ABC on the outside.
Trey and Wentz hit a really cool combination move and secured the pinfall in doing so.
