Full Results For AJPW Royal Road Tournament Finals (8/27/2023), Terry Funk honored
The All Japan Pro-Wrestling 10th Royal Road Tournament came to a conclusion on August 27th at the Nagoya International Conference Hall.
Close to 1,000 fans were on hand to witness NJPW star Satoshi Kojima defeat Shuji Ishikawa in the semifinals and then Ryuki Honda in the finals to win the 10th Royal Road Tournament. Kojima put Honda away with a lariat to secure the pinfall victory.
Also featured was a GLEAT G INFINITY Title match as the champions Jun and Rei Saito successfully defended their titles against Kotaro Suzuki & Hartley Jackson.
The show opened with a ten-bell salute for Terry Funk who passed away last Wednesday. Funk was a major star for AJPW back in the 70’s and 80’s.

- G-INFINITY Title: Jun Saito & Rei Saito (c) defeated Kotaro Suzuki & Hartley Jackson (11:01) after Jun’s psycho break against Jackson
- AJPW TV Six Man Tag Team Title & DDT Pro-Wrestling’s KO-D Six Man Tag Team Title Double Title Match: : Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani (c, KO-D) defeated ATM, Takao Omori & Black Menso~re (c, AJPW). Yukio Sakaguchi, Saki Akai & Hideki Okatani win AJPW TV 6 Man Tag Titles
- Hayato Tamura & KAZMA SAKAMOTO defeated Hokuto Omori & Naoki Tanizaki (9:36) after a jackhammer by Tamura on Omori.
- Royal Road Tournament Semifinal: Satoshi Kojima defeated Shuji Ishikawa (10:44) with a lariat.
- Royal Road Tournament Semifinal: Ryuki Honda defeated Suwama (7:28) with the Final Vent.
- Ren Ayabe & Aigle Blanc defeat Ryo Inoue & Konaka (7:38) after a 450 splash by Blanc against Konaka.
