AEW Star Quietly Signs Two Year Extension With The Promotion

An AEW star has quietly extended their deal with the promotion.

With the impending All In event coming up, AEW will look to make a lot of money over the course of the next week. With the PPV emanating from London, England, several talents have made their way home for the event including the likes of Saraya and Will Ospreay.

One name who has been in the UK to promote the event is Anthony Ogogo, who has not been seen on AEW television for quite some time. Despite this absence however, it seems he is going nowhere. Fightful Select reports that Ogogo signed a two year contract extension with AEW.

The 34-year old Ogogo hasn’t wrestled in general since November 2022, and in AEW since August 2022, but as best we’ve heard there haven’t been creative plans set for him. But he isn’t going anywhere, well other than London. With Ogogo’s extended absence, Fightful inquired about his status with AEW. Ogogo is healthy and available to wrestle, on the AEW roster page and still under a full-time deal. In fact, we’re told that around the end of 2022 or start of 2023, Ogogo actually signed a two-year contract extension that would keep him with AEW until the start of 2025 at least. Ogogo is in London to do media for this week’s AEW All In.

We will have to wait and see if Ogogo makes his presence known at AEW All In this Sunday.
