Sami Zayn Says The Bloodline Story Made Him Want To Pursue Acting

Sami Zayn wants to pursue acting.

Zayn shot to stardom in WWE over the course of the past year or so, and has been an incredibly pivotal part of The Bloodline’s storyline.

At Elimination Chamber 2023, the event was held in Montreal, Canada. Sami Zayn was once again babyface and would be returning to his hometown to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Zayn would come up short in the matchup, but would be the fan favorite every step of the way all the same. He would then go on to team with Kevin Owens to dethrone The Usos at WrestleMania 39.

While speaking on Ryan Satin’s Out of Character podcast, Sami Zayn talked about the storyline and how it has made him want to pursue acting.

“The more I got to flex those chops a little bit with that storyline because of the level of depth and the range of emotions I got really bit by the bug,” Zayn revealed. “I was like, ‘This feels great I love it.’ I love wrestling stuff where I can really act more. In fact, I’d love to act, it kind of opened that door a little bit for me. It’s definitely something I’m interested in.

If I am genuinely just interested in pursuing the craft then it doesn’t need to be for Hollywood movies,” Zayn said. “I could do local theatre, that’s almost more intriguing to me in some ways. Genuinely learning the craft, is that really what I am interested in, or is there an egotistical component where I’m like, well I’d like to leverage this popularity from WWE and do shows that I am a fan of.”

We will have to wait and see if Zayn will get the chance to act more in the foreseeable future.

Sami recently opened up about his elbow injury that he has been carrying for quite some time.
