CM Punk’s Post Collision Shots On Hangman Page Were Not Storyline, Page Was Blocked From Attending Recent Collison

CM Punk is doing his best to bury Hangman Page, something that only makes AEW President Tony Khan’s job harder.

After Saturday’s AEW Collision show, CM Punk would take a microphone and would once again take shots at Hangman Page, a man who Punk’s issues began with due to Page not being willing to take Punk’s advice.

Dave Meltzer would discuss the words thrown out by Punk on The Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that it was not storyline and Hangman was blocked from attending Collision to film a pre-taped promo. Fightful Select would also note they had heard the same.

Wrestling Observer reported today that Hangman Page was set to do a pre=taped interview for AEW Dynamite. However. When he go there he was told that they would have to do it away from the venue and not to go to the show. We’ve heard something similar, but haven’t been able to confirm.

In regards to Hangman Page and CM Punk, we were flat out told the promo after Collision was not a work, or a planned thing that Page was involved in.

This is the latest incident in the saga of The Elite and CM Punk, with many growing tired of Punk’s antics.

It has also been reported that several talent, including the head of Talent Relations, have been sent home from Collision tapings in recent weeks.
