Kenoh: I Was So Pissed Off When I Heard Kaito Kiyomiya Was Missing The N-1 VICTORY 2023
Pro Wrestling NOAH megastar Kenoh is gearing up for the start of the N-1 VICTORY 2023 tournament which is set to begin on August 6th at Yokohama Budokan.
Kenoh is a two time N-1 VICTORY tournament winner, winning in 2017 and 2019. He is one of the favorites to prevail in this years N-1 VICTORY. A recent interview with Kenoh was released on the Pro Wrestling NOAH website as the N-1 VICTORY 2023 was discussed.
Kenoh was asked how he felt participating in this years N-1:
Looking at 2023, Noah has always been Marufuji, Sugiura, and in parts have relied on those wrestlers. But not this time. That’s why I have to show a new Noah. Among which, I’ll take the lead and lead Noah in one stroke. And, I will lead the N-1. If you say that you will lead, then naturally, you will have no choice but to win.
Kenoh was then asked if he is good at the style of league matches:
There nothing I’m not good at. I’m good at league matches, I’m good at singles matches, I’m good at tag matches, I’m good at professional wrestling itself. There’s nothing I’m not good at.
The topic of Kaito Kiyomiya skipping this years N-1 to participate in the NJPW G1 came up and Kenoh gave his thoughts:
I was so pissed off when I heard that he was missing the N-1. However, when I thought about the future of Noah and the future of professional wrestling, I came up with a very good idea: the N-1 winner and the G-1 winner will have a singles match while fresh. It’s never happened before. The order of this protected pro wrestling world can be changed. That will be 2023. I will win N-1 and Kiyomiya will win G-1. And while fresh, the winners will have a singles match. All you f***ers want to see a card this exciting, right?
Kenoh is set to take on Adam Brooks on the N-1 VICTORY 2023 opening night on August 6th.
