Katushiko Nakajima Names Lance Anoa’i As One Of The Opponents He Is Most Looking Forward To Facing At NOAH’s N-1 VICTORY 2023

All the hype surrounding Pro Wrestling NOAH presently is due to the upcoming N-1 VICTORY 2023 tournament which it set to kick of on August 6th at Yokohama Budokan.

One of the competitors in the B Block of this years N-1 VICTORY is Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Katushiko Nakajima. Nakajima was interviewed about the upcoming N-1 on the NOAH website and was asked who in the B Block he is looking forward to facing:

AXIZ’s Go Shiozaki is a given, because this is a match that can only be fought in the N-1 league. Points may be important, but I want to taste Go Shiozaki purely to my heart’s content. Also, overseas wrestlers will participate this time. Personally, fighting Lance Anoa’i for the first time, and Huxley (Saxon) are the wrestlers I am most looking forward to.

Nakajima was asked about who in the A Block should he make it to the championship match on September 3rd:

It’s the champion (Jake Lee) who I lost in the title match to, and still holds the belt.

He was then asked what we can expect from in this years N-1:

Every match is like that, but this is a one of a kind battle. I want to show the atmosphere and fight that only I can bring out, and top of that, as this is a league, it is singles matches. That’s why I think it’s a stage where you can show your individuality and bring out matches, but it’s also a stage where you can show your presence to Noah. I really want to put it out there.

Katsuhiko Nakajima is a two time N-1 VICTORY tournament winner as he won in 2020 and 2021. He is scheduled to face Lance Anoa’i on August 26th.
