In tonight’s main event match Tony D’Angelo, Stacks, and a mystery teased opponent would face the team of Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, & Wolfgang). The mystery opponent joining the family team would soon be revealed as Smackdown’s LWO superstar: Santos Escobar.
In a previous NXT in Your House (2022) a match was held between Tony D’Angelo, Stacks, and Two Dimes vs Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde with Elektra Lopez) — where the losing team had to join the opposite team’s family. Legado Del Fantasma ended up taking a loss to the D’Angelo family, which in hand meant that they would join the other family.
The show kicked off with Gallus attacking D’Angelo and Stacks immediately after exiting their vehicle, setting up for the main event match.
In the final moments of the match, D’Angelo struck Mark Coffey with a hurricanrana off the top rope to prepare for the Family’s Bada Boom Bada Bing. D’Angelo took the victory for the team after pinning Wolfgang.
In backstage EXCLUSIVE with Tony, Stacks, and Santos — Escobar was quick to compliment the match. Even though the trio isn’t exactly the best of friends, Santos went on to say, “But when you called me and you said you needed to handle business — I remember one thing. The one thing that your family and mi familia share is that we both love and respect the business. So when you called me, I showed up.”
