Johnny Swinger Earns World Title Shot, Sends Zicky Dice Packing In ‘Loser Leaves IMPACT’ Match
On last weeks IMPACT episode, Johnny Swinger approached IMPACT President Scott D’Amore about getting his World Title shot. Scott said all Swinger has to do is win 1 match next week, but his opponent is Swinger’s friend & confidant Zicky Dice, and whoever loses will be gone from IMPACT.
Zicky Dice rolled Swinger down to the ring for their match tonight, just like he usually does when Swinger’s music hit. Zicky then walks to the back and waits for his own music to hit before making his way out to the ring.
Dice let Swinger poke him in the chest – a throwback to the WCW World Title match between Hulk Hogan & Kevin Nash, infamously dubbed the “finger poke of doom” match – but as Sainger went to pin Dice, Dice rolled up swinger for an attempted pinfall. Swinger kicked out.
Swinger laid down In the ring and made Dice think he was going to get the victory. At the 2 count, Swinger kicked out and rolled to the outside.
Johnny Swinger starts walking up the ramp like he’s leaving. He tells Zicky that it’s his time now. Swinger tells Zicky to get on the cart. Dice gets in the cart and poses. Swinger pushed the cart back toward the ring and then attacks Dice. Swinger rolls Zicky into the ring and then – using the ropes for leverage – covers Dice for the victory.
Zicky Dice is the loser and must leave IMPACT Wrestling. Johnny Swinger has earned himself a World Title shot.
