Exclusive – Indy Sensation Macrae Martin: Appearing On ROH Was Mind Blowing, Wants To Face Dark Order, House Of Black and Top Flight

Indy sensation Macrae Martin has been on quite a roll in 2023. He has made appearances for ROH, GCW, Limitless Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, C4 Wrestling and International Wrestling Syndicate to name a few. Martin currently holds the Seaway Valley Wrestling Championship, Courage Pro Next Gen Championship and Au Sommet de la Lutte Championship. Martin also teams with Junior Benito and they are known as Fresh Air. They are quickly becoming one of the top tag teams on the indy scene.

Macrae Martin was a recent guest on The Alliance Pro Wrestling Network YouTube Channel for interview conducted by Bodyslam.net’s Lewis Carlan.

Martin was asked about his recent appearance for ROH:

It was mind-blowing. I’ve been watching Ring of Honor since I was 18 years old, it was at 18 when I started to really get into the independent scene in wrestling coming across promotions like Ring of Honor, Impact and all those things. When you get out there you walk beside the ramp so you’re not seeing anything then you get into the ring. When you’re in the ring and the lights are on and you see all the fans around yeah and it’s just incredible. Then you look up and you see the big Titantron and you’re like whoa this is this is legit and so I was just there soaking it all in and it was cool.

Martin was asked during the course of the interview if there are any ROH opponents he would like to face:

Oh that’s a good question, definitely Stu (Grayson) and (Evil) Uno for sure.  I would love it if Junior and I we got to square up with Dark Order, that’s always a given. From a favorite wrestler aspect, I know House of Black they occasionally appear in Ring of Honor so if we did Junior and I against Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black or myself versus Malakai Black. I would probably mark out because Malakai is my favorite wrestler and he has been for a few years. Top Flight is another another team that’s in Ring of Honor that if Junior and I got in there, I mean I’d love to get a do a little something with them.
