Chris Brookes Defeats Yuji Hino at DDT Pro WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 To Become New KO-D Openweight Championship
Chris Brookes is the new DDT Pro-Wrestling KO-D Openweight Champion. Brookes defeated Yuji Hino on July 23rd in the main event of DDT Pro’s WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023. There were nearly 4,000 fans in attendance at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan to witness the title change.
Brookes won the match after to two kicks to the head then a Praying Mantis Bomb on Hino to win the match and become the champion.

Chris Brookes didn’t have much time to celebrate as he was immediately challenged by Shigehiro Irie.
Chris Brookes will make his first defense of the KO-D Openweight Title against Shigehiro Irie on September 9th.
