Moments ago, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce some new matchups for next weeks show.
Eric Young was backstage with Gia Miller discussing his return to the company when he was rudely interrupted by Nick Aldis. Aldis says he is looking for an ally against the rest of IMPACT and thinks that Eric Young would be a good fit.
Young said he doesn’t “fit” in boxes and nobody will make him do it. He says this business is all about evolving and that’s something he does very well. He’s a big fan of history and tradition, such as the tradition of the bell ringing and people resolving their differences in the ring.
The Coven comment on Trinity & Dani Luna, they almost sound jealous that the new IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts World Champion is getting more attention than they are. King says they’re not wrestling out of respect, but to make a statement.
Trinity started her IMPACT career with a debut match against KiLynn King, who at the time was one half of the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions. KiLynn looked great, but couldn’t overcome the tremendous skills of Trinity.
During a backstage segment, Scott D’Amore was gaining control of another situation, when Johnny Swinger & Zicky Dice approached him about Swingers next match.
D’Amore said if Swinger wins he’ll get a title shot, but if he loses then he’s out of the company. His opponent is Zicky Dice. Dice says that he’ll just lay down for Swinger so he can get the victory. After hearing this, Scott comes back and says that whichever one of them loses the match will be fired from IMPACT.
