DDT Pro-Wrestling Tanabata Special 2023 in SHINJUKU Results (7/7/2023); Yuki Ueno vs AEW’s Nick Wayne, El Desperado Appears

Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan hosted DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Tanabata Special 2023 in SHINJUKU event on July 7th.

In the match that headlined the show, the current KO-D Openweight Champion Yuji Hino teamed with Makoto Oishi as they faced off against Chris Brookes and Masahiro Takanashi. Hino sent a message to his WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 challenger Chris Brookes by submitting him with the King Kong Sleeper to win the match for his team.

In a special international singles match, DDT Pro superstar Yuki Ueno defeated AEW’s Nick Wayne in a thrilling match up.

Yuki Ueno had some kind words for Nick Wayne which was made via social media.

Backstage after the match, Nick Wayne discussed the bout with Yuki Ueno, being part of the DDT Pro roster for two weeks and thanking DDT Pro Wrestling.

NJPW star El Desperado made an appearance and confronted his WRESTLE PETER PAN 2023 opponent Daisuke Sasaki after Sasaki defeated Toi Kojima.
