Court Bauer Claims That After Years Of Discussions, The Deal Between MLW And FITE Finally Made Sense

Major League Wrestling’s live special Never Say Never will air on FITE TV on July 8.

Over the years, MLW has had several homes, including YouTube, BeIN Sports, Pro Wrestling TV, Vice TV, and others. The majority of MLW’s run was spent on tape delay, and live specials were few and far between.

MLW Owner Court Bauer discusses the partnership with FITE on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl.

“Mike Weber and our side have had conversations for like five or six years about doing something big. The stars didn’t align for it. Finally, we have the right conversation at the right time this spring, and it just locked. It made sense for both sides to do it, so we did it. We’ve been very close over the years with doing something with FITE. I first worked with Mike when we were both at Ring of Honor in 2013 or 2014, so we’ve known each other for a long time,”

During the conversation, Bauer also addressed the allegations that Jacob Fatu ghosted a charitable organization.

Jake’s Network of Hope, a nonprofit based in Neenah, Wisconsin, accused Jacob Fatu of not returning money after pulling out of their fundraiser event and then ghosting the organization on June 29, according to NBC 26. Fatu was invited to perform at their Hits For Hope event.
