AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega Result

The rematch happened at Forbidden Door and it lived up to the hype.

With both men returning to past music and past monikers in their entrance, Ospreay was flanked by Don Callis and his security. The two would start off slow but remaining intense despite it with hard strikes to each other early on.

Callis would not remain for long, being thrown out by the referee after pulling at the leg of Omega on a spot, freeing up the pair from shenanigans. Ospreay would take control of the match, sickeningly thudding Kenny’s head into the announce table cover again and again, drawing blood.

The match would continue to get more and brutal as Kenny would later replicate this spot but put Ospreay into the steel steps, opening Will up even more so, quickly becoming covered in blood himself.

Omega and Ospreay would continue to trade submissions trying to wear down each other, before the pace once again picked up. Ospreay would hit an incredibly corkscrew twisting press to the outside on Kenny which took the breath out of ever fan in the arena.

Shortly after, Don Callis would return to the ringside area, receiving Piece Of Shit fans. He would pass Ospreay a screwdriver, which he used, hitting the Hidden Blade and Stormbreaker only for Omega to get his foot on the rope.

Ospreay would then hit the One Winged Angel, with Kenny kicking out at 1 to a raucous reaction from the crowd. However, this would only be a temporary rally for Kenny in the end as after a flurry of his signature moves, Ospreay would eventually put Omega down for the 3 count to win the IWGP US Title.
