AAW’s Trent Zuberi Comments On Event Being Cancelled, Blames “Unprofessional” Owner Of Venue

AAW’s Trent Zuberi comments on their event being cancelled.

The promotions Twitter tweeted out recently to let fans know that the event was off due to the city of Chicago closing their venue at Irving Hall. Despite attempts to find a new venue, they were unable to run their event. Ticket refunds will be issued as soon as possible.

AAW’s Trent Zuberi posted several tweets about the event, noting that the venue owner’s unprofessionalism lead to the cancellation of the event.

I am disappointed for our fans. I am disappointed for our roster. I am disappointed for our staff. It’s truly a shame that an OPERATING venue didn’t have their documentation in order and that unprofessionalism results in hurting other people. We are never going to let this happen again. Letting our entire crew down is a pain that I can’t even emphasize in words and knowing it was avoidable if the BUILDING OWNER would have had their act together bothers me even more. We are game planning to make all this right. It will be handled very soon. I am very grateful for the amount of love & support our fans, roster, staff and fellow promoters have shown us during this. The wrestling community absolutely comes together when one of us needs it and it was proven here. Thank you all for having our backs.

Trent Zuberi

We will have to wait and see what else happens from this event cancellation.
