Asuka Presented With Brand New WWE Women’s Championship, Charlotte Flair Returns On SmackDown
Earlier today, it was revealed there would be a championship presentation for Asuka. WWE would clarify that the title was new and would replace the RAW Women’s Championship.
Adam Pearce kicked off the segment by welcoming Asuka to the ring. The champ would make her entrance, blowing kisses and waving to her fans. Adam Pearce would then present the championship to Asuka. As this happened, Charlotte Flair’s music would hit and Flair would make her way to the ring.
Charlotte Flair would challenge Asuka to a future match, with Asuka accepting. Asuka would then attempt to mist Charlotte, but was countered.
Charlotte stood tall to end the segment.
