Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali may be back in NXT right now, but they will still be appearing on RAW and SmackDown as free agents.
Fightful Select have now reported that several people have asked for Mustafa Ali in NXT, with the belief that Corbin and Ali will draw more people to NXT on Tuesday nights.
There were several NXT talent who specifically had requested to work with Mustafa Ali, and word we got was that Ali was more than happy to oblige. The goal for these appearances is to add interest in NXT, help refresh Ali and Corbin, assess the talent they’ll be working with, and get experience for NXT talent with people who have worked main roster TV and style for quite a while. We’ve been told that Ali and Corbin will continue working NXT, but that it isn’t a completely permanent move, and can still appear on Raw and Smackdown when needed.

We will have to wait and see how the free agents will continue to be used in NXT in the near future.
