NJPW Star El Desperado Wants A Rematch With Jon Moxley

Back on July 30th 2022, El Desperado faced Jon Moxley in a No Disqualification match at NJPW Music City Mayhem in Nashville, Tennessee. The match was a brutal one with numerous weapons being used by both combatants. Jon Moxley emerged victorious as El Desperado passed out from a sleeper hold causing a referee stoppage.

Now El Desperado wants another shot at Jon Moxley. After participating in two matches for GCW last weekend, El Desperado called out Moxley and challenged him to another match.

In a video by El Desperado on the NJPW Global Twitter page, he discussed his weekend in GCW and called out Jon Moxley in the process.

From El Desperado:

“So I come all the way here to GCW on my lonesome, and get wiped in the first round of the tournament. Wish I could’ve lasted, man, but I got the best motivation, the best stimulation, the best pain, and the heat, brother. It reminded me of some- oh, that sounds nasty. It reminded me of more motivation that I got in America. All that fun we had. But then like now, I got buried. You remember? I couldn’t even tap. It was a stoppage. But I’m jonesing for it now. I want more. Moxley, Moxley, Moxley I want what you can give me, man. Come on, let’s go again. I hear NJPW Strong are doing some cool things soon. You know what I love about you? So quick with your replies. You won’t let me down, right? I want the good stuff. Don’t be a stranger,”

Jon Moxley indicated after his appearance at NJPW Dominion on June 4th that he intends to return to NJPW. A rematch between the two appears to be very likely in the near future.
