MJF Thinks The Tradition Of World Champions Going On Last Is Dead

MJF believes the tradition of world champions going on last is dead.

At AEW Double Or Nothing 2023, the four pillars four way did not main event the PPV. Instead, the Anarchy in The Arena match between The Elite and The Blackpool Combat Club closed the show.

At the AEW Double or Nothing post-show media scrum, MJF was asked whether he had a problem with not main-eventing the show.

“No, why the fuck would I want to roll around in Jon Moxley’s blood? I’m fucking good. No thanks. Also, realistically, whether it’s this company or WWE, the World Title, ‘having to go on last,’ kind of is dead in wrestling. How times has the World Title not gone on last in this company?”

“I’d rather not run around in all that mid-blood. It’s fucking disgusting. Wheeler Yuta was in that match, you think I want roll around in Wheeler Yuta blood?”

Did he not bleed? Wow. Congrats”

We will have to wait and see what direction is next for the AEW World Champion but for now, he is not worried about main eventing when he does compete.
