KeShaun Moore: When My Football Career Is Over, I’m Coming To The WWE

Defensive Lineman KeShaun Moore has opportunities awaiting him when he decides to stop playing football.

Moore plays for the Saskatchewan Roughriders which is part of the Canadian Football League. He is also an athlete for the WWE’s NIL (Next In Line) program which gives collegiate athletes a path to the world of entertainment and WWE if their career in their desired sport doesn’t pan out for them.

Speaking with CTV News, Moore discussed his connection with WWE and the likelihood of stepping inside the ring when his days on the gridiron are done.

“They [WWE] reached out to me about a year ago, and it’s been a good partnership with them during this time. I’ve never wrestled in my life, but yeah, I have that going on as well as football,” Moore said. “A lot of the superstars that have come from the past two, three decades who wrestled were big-time superstars who were playing collegiate sports.

“When my playing days are over, I most likely will be stepping in the ring. But right now, I’m 24. I still got the itch to play ball. I’m definitely going to play football as long as I can for sure,” added Moore. “I’ve gone to SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and I get ringside tickets when I go to events. They’re super awesome to talk to, I can reach out when I have a question about everything. They’re basically saying the doors always open for me to step into the ring whenever I decide to take that step.”

The door is always open and if Moore were to step foot inside of a WWE ring, he would be interesting to watch given his strength, speed and desire to do his best.
