Drew Mcintyre is operating under the possibility he may decide to leave WWE when his contract expires later this year.
A two time WWE Champion and a main event star for quite some time, Drew McIntyre is an invaluable asset for any professional wrestling company in the world. We last saw McIntyre at WrestleMania 39 where he would lose a triple threat match with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week noted that McIntyre is currently working with the idea that he may be finishing up with WWE soon.
McIntyre right now is working with the idea there’s a good chance he’s finishing up, he could do a big program for the title as a challenger and finally leave. Perhaps at that point Randy Orton could return, and there’s always people like Brock Lesnar and Omos that they could add in that spot as a temporary headline program

McIntyre is currently on the shelf with injuries but he is expected back in a few short weeks. We will have to wait and see if The Scottish Warrior will decide to stay or go when his deal expires later this year.
