AEW Double Or Nothing Shaping Up To Have A Large Card

This month’s PPV will be happening at the end of the month and is expected to have a deep card.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted 10 matches that are likely coming for Double or Nothing in their latest issue.

5/28 Double or Nothing show in Las Vegas. The main event is now official with MJF vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy Jack Perry for the AEW title. It is a unique main event with three men under the age of 30 and Allin, who just turned 30, none of whom had any television presence prior to AEW. It also has three risk takers who are all in what is easily the biggest match of their careers, which sounds both exciting and also scary. And MJF is coming off one of the best matches in company history in his last PPV main event with Bryan Danielson. The BCC vs. Elite saga continues, although the match is not announced yet, nor are whatever stipulations known, but that could be the top drawing match on the show. It’s still not clear if Adam Cole vs. Chris Jericho will be a singles match or a mixed tag, involving Britt Baker and Saraya. There could be a Saraya & Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. Baker & Jamie Hayter & Hikaru Shida match, or Baker in the mixed tag and Hayter defending her title against Storm or Soho. FTR vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal is the tag title match. Other teased stuff is Wardlow vs. Christian Cage for the TNT title, possibly Jade Cargill vs. Taya Valkyrie, Jay White vs. Ricky Starks, Keith Lee vs. Swerve Strickland and trios titles with the House of Black vs. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn. That’s ten matches right there.

Double Or Nothing is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena on May 28th. We will have to wait and see how many matches end up on the card.
