IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, Steve Maclin, Named Veteran Of The Day By Dept. of Veterans Affairs
Maclin, real name Steve Kupryk, is a World Champion, but he’s also a United States Marine.
The US government Dept. of Veterans Affairs took to their Twitter account earlier today to honor Kupryk with a story.
IMPACT quickly promoted the announcement themselves as well.
Maclin did 2 tours in Iraq as a machine gunner after 9/11. He became IMPACT World Champion on 4/16 at IMPACT’s Rebellion Pay Per View. Maclin has touted himself as a fighting champion who won’t back down from a challenge, and that seems right up the alley of a US Marine.
Congrats to Steve Kupryk on this honor of being named #VeteranOfTheDay.
