Rey Mysterio explains why he decided to bring back the LWO.
While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Rey Mysterio talked about the LWO’s return after so many years. Rey would explain that he’s had the idea for quite a while, with the factions return being met positively by fans.
The idea was already sitting in the back of my head and my heart, that I wanted to recreate this new version of the LWO, most importantly because of the representation of what the LWO means. To have these, my crew together, Del Fantasma, Zelina and myself, we’re a strong crew that stands together. Individually we’re strong as well, but when we’re all together, nothing can take us down. So, I’m completely honored to share the ring with my people and to represent what we stand by.
Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio is currently a member of the faction, which was originally named Legado Del Fantasa. The faction has been feuding with the Judgement Day for quite some time and will undoubtedly make an appearance during the San Jose Street Fight at Backlash.
