Kenny King Enjoys The Things He Sees In ROH & Would Kill For Another Opportunity To Face Claudio Castagnoli

Kenny King was a Ring of Honor mainstay for over a decade before the promotion abruptly ended at the end of 2021.

King is a three-time ROH Tag Team Champion as well as a two-time ROH Television Champion. He completed a huge chapter in his ROH career when he faced Shane Taylor in a Fight Without Honor at ROH Final Battle 2021.

King is presently signed to IMPACT Wrestling and hasn’t gone back to ROH since it was purchased by Tony Khan in March 2022, but when Renee Paquette of The Sessions asked about a potential comeback, King answered, “I’m not sure.”

“I like what I see over there. I would kill for another chance to wrestle Claudio Castagnoli. He’s always been one of my favorites. I like what they have going on over there, and if there’s an opportunity at some point to go over there, I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to that, or any other wrestling opportunity for the next couple of years while you still have me.”

Castagnoli currently holds the ROH World Championship. King and Claudio haven’t met since 2011.

In February, King agreed to a one-year contract with IMPACT.
