IMPACT Wrestling Announces IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2, Return to Toronto in August
Last night during the Rebellion broadcast, lead announcer Tom Hannifan was running down the list of events upcoming for IMPACT. He got to August and noted that there will be another show with New Japan Pro Wrestling emanating from the 2300 arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show is titled “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” and will take place Sunday August 20th.
Tom also mentioned that IMPACT will be returning to the Rebel Complex (where Rebellion was held from) just 1 week later on Sunday,’August 27th for a LIVE Emergence event, usually followed by a day of television tapings.
At least year’s Emergence event, Jordynne Grace battled Mia Yim in a very intense match for the Knockouts Title, which Grace successfully retained. She was then confronted by Masha Slamovich as a target. Josh Alexander successfully defend his IMPACT World Title against one half of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley.
