Update On John Cena’s Schedule Heading Into WrestleMania

The 16x World Champion’s schedule is booked solid with commitment after commitment. High profile Hollywood gigs await Cena, and he actually has a project that he is doing while he builds toward that match against Austin Theory.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that John Cena won’t be available for a lot of appearances before WrestleMania rolls around. He completed his last movie on March 4th, and now he’s starting a new project. That being said, he won’t be around every week.

“That movie was done on the [March] fourth, that movie was done last weekend, but he’s got another movie he’s starting up on. So his time is still limited. It’s not like he’s going to be on TV every Monday or Friday or anything. When he’s free, he’ll be there.”

It was reported that WWE pre-taped an angle at the WWE Performance Center with John Cena and Austin Theory months ago, but it doesn’t appear that they have aired it yet. Perhaps, WWE will get around to showing WWE fans what they did that day during the build toward WrestleMania 39.
