WWE Preparing To Receive First Round Bids Next Month

WWE pay-per-view historically took place on Sunday nights until recent years, when the company started changing things up. That Sunday night pay-per-view model was a bit old, and it also made for a really rough Monday morning for a lot of fans who stayed up all night with their pro wrestling fandom. A report from CNBC was quick to note that WWE is prepared to accept first-round bids for potential buyers “next month.”

WWE is set to meet with potential buyers for the company next month in preparation for first-round bids, two of the people said. There’s no assurance a transaction will take place.
