Johnny Gargano made his shocking return to the white and gold brand to take out Grayson Waller. The former NXT Champion was introduced as Waller’s opponent for NXT Stand & Deliver by Shawn Michaels himself.
Grayson Waller took to Twitter after the segment to claim that Gargano made the biggest mistake of his life by returning to NXT to pick a fight with him. The Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge posted a picture from their 2021 meeting as well.
It remains to be see what the Rebel Heart will have to say to the NXT Universe following his epic return to the white and gold brand.
