Ring of Honor TV (3/2/2023) Results

After 430 days, Ring of Honor hosted its first TV episode on Thursday, March 2, 2023. The show aired on the streaming service “Honor Club” and it emanated from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

– Mark Briscoe def. Slim J (w/ Ari Daivari & Mark Sterling).

*In a backstage interview, Tony Deppen read out loud a piece a paper declaring his intentions in defeating ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe to regain the title.

– The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) (w/ Maria Kanellis-Bennett) def. The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean).

NJPW World Television Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) def. Blake Christian.

* Mark Sterling & Ari Daivari tried to make an offer to Konosuke Takeshita to cancel the match. Takeshita tore the contract.

*Christopher Daniels sent a warning to the ROH Roster, saying that he was not done just yet.

– Christopher Daniels vs. Rohit Raju (w/ Jora Johl).

– After an interview with Lexi Nair, Rhett Titus & Tracy Williams were challenged Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) to a match next week.

– Konosuke Takeshita def. Josh Woods (w/ Mark Sterling).

– ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli promised AR Fox that there would not be anything to spoil his ROH return.

– The Embassy (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage & Toa Liona) (w/ Prince Nana) def. Joe Keys, LSG & Rex Lawless.

– Ari Daivari (w/ Mark Sterling & Slim J) def. Metalik.

*AR Fox detailed being rejected in an ROH tryout in an interview with Lexi Nair. Fox promised to win the title in the Main Event.

– Madison Rayne & Skye Blue vs. The Renegade Twins (Charlette Renegade & Robyn Renegade).

*ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta issued an open challenge for the title in an in-ring interview, which was responded to by Timothy Thatcher.

– Willow Nightingale def. Lady Frost.

*After the match, Willow Nightingale called out ROH Women’s Champion Athena for a match for the title. Athena accepted her challenge.

– ROH World Heavyweight Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli (c) def. AR Fox.*

*After the match, Eddie Kingston made his way to the ramp and immediately confronted Claudio Castagnoli. Kingston warned Castagnoli that he was coming for the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. Castagnoli left the ring as the two stared daggers from across the ramp.
