The Sheik Legitimately Scared The Undertaker As A Kid

The Deadman was a fixture of WWE television for over thirty years, and he continued to be a highlight of WWE television since the early 90s. He finally retired at Survivor Series 2020 and even got inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame last year.

The Phenom has squared off against the best of the best the professional wrestling, including the likes of Batista, Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels and many more throughout the years.

While speaking on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, The Undertaker talked about the time he watched The Sheik at a wrestling event during his childhood. The Deadman revealed that he was legitimately scared of The Sheik as a kid.

“He scared the s**t out of me when I was a little kid (…) I don’t know, I was maybe 10 or 11 years old. I was living in Houston, Texas. My mom had got some tickets and The Sheik was coming in to work with somebody. I don’t remember who he was gonna wrestle. Me and my buddy across the street, we were talking mad like, ‘When The Sheik comes down to the ring, we’re gonna jump on the barricade and we’re gonna say this.’”

We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for the WWE Hall Of Famer, now that he is retired for good.
