Despite Vince McMahon’s return to WWE’s offices, and taking the Executive chair on the Board of Directors once again, Mr. McMahon is working different hours. He is still around, but not in the same way he once was.
Triple H spoke candidly at the conclusion of his address during WWE’s 4th quarter earnings call. He took a moment to speak about Vince McMahon’s return to WWE, and how he sees it as a benefit.
For me, and it will allow me to speak for our entire creative team, but we are standing on the shoulders of giants. So, having him back and involved, if even at a board level, comes with his incredible insight. He is a tremendous asset to this company.

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was under the guise of selling the company. As he searches out alternatives for WWE’s ownership, Triple H will continue running the company’s creative direction while Vince McMahon keeps himself busy with the sale.
