Thunder Rosa is currently out with a back injury that forced her to relinquish the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Last week in her hometown of San Antonio, Thunder Rosa was backstage according to Will Washington of Fightful. She didn’t film anything, and left during the show. While some fans have speculated that Rosa could be Saraya’s partner on January 11th, Rosa is not expected to be cleared till the new year.
Rosa captured the AEW Women’s World Championship in March of last year, defeating Britt Baker in a steel cage match to wrestle the championship away from the Doctor. We will have to wait and see when Rosa will be able to return to the ring full time for All Elite Wrestling.
