AJ Styles Confirms Broken Ankle Injury He Suffered At WWE Live Event

AJ Styles suffered a genuine ankle injury while performing at a WWE live event in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday night. Naturally, fans were very concerned for his well-being after the incident.

In fact, AJ Styles missed this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown due to the injury. The Phenomenal One took to Twitter and officially confirmed that he has suffered a broken ankle. Styles stated that he will not be needing any surgery.

Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I've ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.

We certainly hope AJ Styles manages to recover in time, as WrestleMania 39 is only a few months ago.
