“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan Tackled Intruder In His Home

Jim Duggan recounts a scary story of his house being broken into.

In an exclusive interview with Wrestling Inc., Duggan explained that his home was broken into by an intruder on Thursday, December 8th around 6:45 p.m. and a man in his mid-20s, entered the front door of his South Carolina home. Duggan claimed he took the man down by grabbing his .44 caliber pistol and holding the intruder at gunpoint.

Duggan and his wife, Debra, went into detail that after the man entered, other people yelled in their neighborhood. Duggan had his Christmas lights turned off and told the intruder to be quiet and concerned that more people might be headed his way. According to the Duggans, the intruder was described as hysterically frightened and claimed that people from a nearby home were coming to kill him, while Duggan kept his gun on his lap and his hand on the intruder’s back until the police arrived.

The intruder was fleeing individuals related to a different legal matter, having him seek refuge. According to Duggan, the intruder knocked on many doors before climbing over the Duggans’ fence and entering through their unlocked door. Duggan didn’t press charges, but he let the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department apprehend the intruder.
