It looks like WWE are looking to get ready for John Cena’s upcoming appearance.
Fightful Select have now reported that there are “discussions within WWE and even plans to integrate John Cena into upcoming episodes of Smackdown even before he arrives.” It was also noted that, “some of the discussions included a “video presence” of some sort, but the extent of that wasn’t known.”
It was confirmed to us by WWE sources that was one of the several things that were teased to hype up Smackdown this week. We’re told the Cena appearance is to be promoted heavily over the next two weeks and that they wanted to make the December 30 show “must watch.”

We will have to wait and see what type of hype is made for John Cena’s eventful WWE return at the end of this month. We still are not clear on if Cena will be appearing at WrestleMania 39 but as of this writing, there is no confirmation on an angle for the leader of the Cenation.
