John Cena will appear on the final episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Variety have now reported that Cena will make his WWE return on the final SmackDown of the year. Cena last appeared for WWE earlier this year to celebrate his 20 year anniversary with the company. The final SmackDown of the year on December 30th which will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.
Cena’s status for WrestleMania 39 and the 2023 Royal Rumble remains up in the air as he will be filming for a movie in February and March of next year. Time will tell what Cena and WWE will have in store for this appearance on December 30th.
