WWE Being Careful With Veer Mahaan’s Current Injury Due To January India Live Event

As previously reported, the upcoming WWE live event in India will be taking place on January 18th. The event will be held in Hyderabad, India at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, where the venue has a 5,000-seat capacity.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Veer Mahaan is currently dealing with a very minor injury. He is apparently cleared to compete, however, WWE is being extra cautious with Mahan as they want him healthy for the upcoming event in India.

Veer is injured, a very minor injury, but they’re still not letting him wrestle. They’re trying to protect him because Veer and Sanga have to be healthy for that India show that’s built all around them in mid-January and a lot of money is involved. So, they can’t risk him being hurt to miss that show, so they pulled him from this show. His injury – he absolutely 100% could wrestle, but they are being extra cautious. Anybody else in this world would wrestle with this kind of injury. It’s like a broken finger or something, which people do work through all the time.

Only time will tell how much involvement Veer Mahaan will have, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed. We will have to wait and see how the event will turn out next month.
