Full IMPACTonAXSTV Review: New Digital Media Champion, Grace Retains, Masha Returns

BTI — Killer Kelly takes on Sandra Moone.

Kelly wins with the Killer Klutch, and then keeps it on for a bit after the bell has rung and the match is over.

IMPACTonAXSTV starts now!

Show kicks off with Brian Myers defending his Digital Media Title against Joe Hendry. Myers is accompanied by tag team partner Matt Cardona.

Hendry nails Myers with a Trust Fall

Cardona almost interferes on the outside, but Hendry turns his attention to him. Cardona is quickly run off by Heath and Rhyno.

Hendry hits Myers with the STANDING OVATION, followed by a cover and pinfall, to become the NEW IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion!

Next up…we go backstage to Gisele Shaw and her new “hype man”/stooge, Jai Vidal.

The video package shows highlights of Gisele Shaw since she came to IMPACT Wrestling. Incredible.

Gisele is set to take on IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace in a title match tonight in the Main Event of the show.

Next, we get a new video package for Violent By Design, with Eric Young talking about a revival of violence. The video also features the new members of Violent By Design, Alan Angles and Big Kon, along with Deaner and Eric.

Now, we go back to the ring for the continuation of the X Division Title tournament where “Speedball” Mike Bailey takes on Trey Miguel. The winner will advance to take on the winner of PJ Black and Taurus at Overdrive on 11/18 to crown a new X Division Champion.

Kenny King comes out to ringside with a bucket of popcorn. King and Bailey have a storied past and technically, King defeated Bailey for the X Division title previously, before the referee restarted the match and Bailey came away with the victory.

Incredible match so far between both competitors. Both men clearly want this victory.

Bailey lands a huge moonsault.

On the outside of the ring, Kenny King picks up Trey Miguel and throws him into the steel steps. The referee views it as helping Bailey, so he disqualifies Bailey and Trey Miguel advances.

We go backstage to the Death Dollz, with Jessicka feeling really down and pissed off about her loss to Savanah Evans last week.

Rosemary says that she needs to channel her anger at Tasha Steelz next week and let all of her anger out.

The camera goes backstage to Kenny King commenting on his actions tonight, costing Bailey the opportunity to advance in the X Division tournament. He calls Bailey fake and says he’s going to expose him.

We go back to the ring where Bhupinder Gujjar is set to take on G Sharpe.

Gujjar is really dominating this match. Seems like a “squash” with an enhancement talent.

Gujjar hits a pop up power slam, and follows it up with a GARGOYLE SLAM – a spear off the middle rope.

Backstage, Heath and Rhyno are commenting on their match with Cardona and Myers – the Major Players – at Overdrive.

Josh walks up during their segment, and Rhyno also has a warning for Josh Alexander about Bully Ray.

We see Alisha walking around backstage and she runs into Jessicka. Jessicka drinks a beer and crushes the can on her head.

Jessicka walks away and approaches her husband, Eddie Edwards. Alisha says she’s worried he’s not done with PCO yet. Eddie says he’s done with it like he said he would be.

We go back to the ring where Deonna Purrazzo accompanies Chelsea Green to the ring for her match against Mickie James.

The referee caught Deonna interfering from the outside for the second time and barred her from ringside.

Mickie and Chelsea with a great back and forth exchange. Both women are on the ring apron and kick each other in the head at the same time. Mickie and Chelsea collapse on the apron.

Mickie still battling and giving it her all, knowing if she loses that’ll be the end of her career.

Chelsea throws Mickie into the referee. Mickie stops short, but Chelsea goes to kick Mickie in the face. Mickie moves and Chelsea hits the referee, knocking him out cold. Deonna comes back to ringside in an attempt to push Mickie off the top rope, but Taylor Wilde comes down and battles with Deonna.

Chelsea goes for a drop kick off the top rope, but Mickie isn’t there. She misses, and Mickie does a half roll up, grabbing her legs for the pin.

Mickie wins, and the Last Rodeo keeps going.

Backstage, Maclin is banging on Scott’s door, furious, and demanding a World Title shot against Josh Alexander.

Tommy Dreamer walks up from down the hallway and explains that Scott isn’t there, but that Maclin doesn’t need to act that way. Maclin says he’s sick of watching everybody else just walk in and get a title shot, but he’s there earning one and still can’t get it.

Maclin turns his attention to Tommy and says Tommy is the shell of a match he used to respect. Tommy said he’ll get Maclin a match, but it’ll be against him instead of Josh.

We go back for the ring for our next match, which will see Zicky Dice taking on Bully Ray.

Zicky and Johnny Swinger mimic the Dudley Boyz “get the tables” bit, they go to the outside and grab a title from under the ring.

Dice sets the table up and goes toward Bully, but missed with a right hook and Bully catches him with a Bully Bomb for the victory.

Post match, Moose comes out and nails Bully Ray with a low blow. Moose then props the table up in the corner of the ring and positions Bully in front of it. Moose hits Bully with a huge SPEAR through the table.

We cut to a video of Sami Callihan speaking about Eric Young and Violent By Design. Sami challenged Eric Young to a new match called “Death Machine’s Double Jeopardy Match”

The concept is that it’s No DQ, no countout. Once somebody is bleeding then they are “in jeopardy” and only then can somebody lose via pinfall or submission. Everyone banned from ringside. It’s based off the legal term “double jeopardy”, which means somebody can’t be charged for the same crime twice.

We see Jordynne Grace backstage with last words for Gisele Shaw ahead of their match tonight. Grace says that Shaw can keep that photograph she was passing around last week where she was posing with the IMPACT Knockouts Title, because that’ll be her way of knowing the difference between holding the title and being champion.

We go outside the arena to Chelsea Green wheeling a suitcase behind her and headed toward the parking lot. Deonna Purrazzo runs up and asks what she’s doing. Chelsea explains that she was the one who was supposed to retire Mickie James, and since she couldn’t do that she’s going home.

During the rundown of matches, they show a clip from during the commercials where Bully Ray challenged Moose to a Tables Match at Overdrive. The match was made official.

We go to a great video package surrounding Frankie Kazarian.

MAIN EVENT —
IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Title
Jordynne Grace defends against “The Quintessential Diva” Gisele Shaw w/Jai Vidal

Huge spinebuster by Grace.

Shaw and Grace exchange intense blows in the middle of the ring.

Grace hits Shaw with a massive suplex off the middle rope.

Jordynne Grace drops Shaw hard on her neck.

Grace hits Shaw with a power bomb and immediately follows it up with a Grace Driver. Grace covers for the pin.

After the match is over, Grace is at the top of the ramp holding up the IMPACT Knockouts Title. Out of nowhere, Masha Slamovich appears with a chair and begins a brutal assault on Jordynne. The assault ends with Masha nailing Grace with a SNOWPLOW onto a pile of chairs and then holding up the IMPACT Knockouts Title.

To end the show, we see PCO reach We go back for the ring for our next match, which will see Zicky Dice taking on Bully Ray.
