Kane Says There Was Never Going To Be Green Gear For His Character

Kane is busting myths.

The WWE Hall of Famer appeared on the most recent episode of The Bump and was asked about his brief association with D-Generation X and if there were ever any plans for him to wear green attire. Kane responded by saying that, to his knowledge, it was never discussed and that he believes it would have undermined the character.

“There was no green gear. There was never going to be any green gear and there never will be green gear. Kane’s red and black all the way, man. That was the one thing that stayed constant. You had the mask, no mask, back to a mask, the mask had different versions, and the costume had different versions, but the thing that always held it together was the color scheme. I think that would have undermined the character, actually. That’s one of those deals that sparked on the internet, and that’s the first time that I’d ever seen it was when people started talking about the green Kane like I was part of DX. To my knowledge, that was never even discussed. Although, maybe I would have looked good in green. I don’t know,” he said.

Also on The Bump, Solo Sikoa discussed his partnership with Sami Zayn, comparing them to two of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes. Click here to read more.
