IMPACT Wrestling Review for 10/6 Go-Home Show Ahead of Bound For Glory; Preview Matches, Contract Signing, More!
Before the IMPACT (BTI) –
Alex Zayne takes on NJPW talent and Bullet Club member Juice Robinson. After about a 10 minute bout, Juice hits Zayne with the ROCK SLIDE to gain the pinfall and thus pick up the victory.
IMPACTonAXSTV episode –
Show kicks off with Honor No More member Kenny King taking on AEW star Kazarian ahead of Kazarian’s X Division Title match with Mike Bailey at Bound for Glory. Kaz locks in the Chicken Wing and Kenny taps out.
Great video package after Kazarian victory, hyping his match with Mike Bailey.
Amazing Eddie Edwards/Josh Alexander video package, hyping their World Title match tomorrow at Bound for Glory.
Mike Bailey has words for Kazarian ahead of their match tomorrow night.
Next match, we go to the ring for Mia Yim taking on “The Quintessential Diva” Gisele Shaw. Mickie is out on commentary.
Mia hits Gisele with the Eat Defeat for the pinfall and subsequent victory.
Mickie comes into the ring to come face to face with Mia Yim.
Next up, we get a video package hyping the Call Your Shot Gauntlet.
Killer Kellys “calls her shot”, making her intention to join the Gauntlet match known. She gets jumped by Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans.
Video package hyping Masha Slamovich vs Jordynne Grace for the IMPACT Knockouts World Title at Bound for Glory.
Backstage segment with Brian Myers, teasing different opponents who could answer his open challenge tomorrow.
Moose vs Maclin is up next. Maclin recently defeated both Moose and Sami in the Barbed Wire Massacre match at Victory Road.
Sami special out as the special guest referee.
Maclin wins after Sami hits both men with the Cactus Driver 97 and rolls Maclin onto Moose. Sami then makes the 3 count.
Call Your Shot Gauntlet segment backstage with Gut Check winners Shogun Jackson, Jack Price, and Jason Hotch. Joe Hendry enters the Gauntlet and takes the LAST open spot.
Next, we have an impromptu match. Taya and Jessicka – now known as the Death Dollz – get a warm up match against 2 former Swingerellas.
Jessicka wins the match after hitting one of the Swingerellas with the Sickisha Driver.
We go backstage to Gia Miller, who’s standing by with the team of VXT (Deonna Purrazzo & Chelsea Green). She gets their thoughts on Taya and Jessicka picking up a victory ahead of the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Title Match tomorrow night at Bound for Glory.
A Bound for Glory “preview” match is next. Current IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion, Matt TAVEN, takes on 1/2 of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley.
Taven is out with tag team partner, Mike Bennett, and his wife Maria Kanellis-Bennett.
Shelley hits the Shellshock to pick up the win.
We go to a clip of Eddie confronting Josh Alexander after his interview with Tom Hannifan from a few days ago. Josh and Eddie come face to face. Alisha walks in and tells Eddie she has to choose between her and Honor No More.
Main Event Segment — Contract Signing — Between challenger, Masha Slamovich, and IMPACT Knockouts World Champion, Jordynne Grace.
Jordynne Grace runs down her IMPACT accomplishments for Masha.
Masha doesn’t say much, except “Masha’s Gonna Kill You”, first in Russian and then in English.
Masha shows Grace what she’s in for tomorrow night in their match at Bound for Glory as she stands over Grace, holding the IMPACT Knockouts title high in the air.
