WWE Performance Center Largely Undamaged Following Hurricane Ian

The WWE Performance Center will need to be cleaned up, but remains largely undamaged.

Hurricane Ian hit Florida this week, causing many people in the state to evacuate or batten down the hatches at home. This of course effected the world of pro wrestling substantially as several names missed AEW Dynamite this week. WWE on the other hand are also worried about what comes next.

Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE Performance Center, which is located in Florida, is largely undamaged, with only minor flood damage to the building.

We were told the problems at the Performance Center, which has been shut down, aren’t that bad, as because the location is high there was little water that got in the gym. If it had been in a lower location in Orlando it would have been flooded. There is still a lot to clean up from the hurricane, but the building was pretty much not damaged at all.

It seems the WWE PC will remain closed for a short time as WWE look to repair any minor issues to the building.
