Major Non Title Tag Team Feud In AEW Put On Hold Due To Hurricane Ian

It looks like we missed out on the beginning of a fresh new feud in the AEW Tag Team division.

On AEW Dynamite this week, we saw a tense segment between The Acclaimed and Keith Lee, where Lee would point out how Billy Gunn got involved in the match at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that due to Hurricane Ian, Samoa Joe and Wardlow would not begin a previously planned feud with Swerve In Our Glory on Dynamite.

There were several others not there including Samoa Joe, and the plans to start a Joe & Wardlow vs. Lee & Strickland program had to be put on hold.

As mentioned previously, many talent could not make it to the Dynamite tapings due to Hurricane Ian. Time will tell if AEW will still decide to continue forward with the two teams rivalry.
