IMPACT Wrestling Announces 4 New Matches for 10/6 Go-Home Episode Ahead of Bound For Glory
During the IMPACT Wrestling episode tonight, numerous matches were announced for next weeks episode.
Mia Yim vs Gisele Shaw
Mia was with Gia Miller discussing her upcoming match at Bound For Glory against Mickie James, only to be interrupted by Gisele Shaw, who then challenged Shaw in a “warm up” for Mickie James.
AEW star Kazarian vs Honor No More member Kenny King
This match is a first-time-ever match between these two. Kazarian is a former TNA X Division champion who made a huge impression on the division and a lasting mark on what the division
is even to this day. Kenny King fell short in trying to acquire the X Division Title a few weeks ago, and he’s trying to gain favor with the group by winning gold. Defeating Kazarian could be a great way to keep himself in that title picture given that Kazarian is currently the top contender for the title.
Matt TAVEN vs Alex Shelley
Matt TAVEN is currently 1/2 of the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Alex Shelley is 1/2 of one of the best tag teams in IMPACT Wrestling history. Alex Shelley teams with Chris Sabin at Bound for Glory as the Motor City Machine Guns for their shot at the IMPACT Tag Team Titles at Bound for Glory on October 7th. This match should be a great preview for that tag match, and a lot of fans who are familiar with his work are excited to see Matt TAVEN in singles action as well. This match should tear the house down and the roof off the place.
Moose vs Maclin – Special Guest Referee: Sami Callihan
Coming off a hot win at Victory Road over both Moose and Sami Callihan, Maclin looks to finally take Moose out for good next Thursday. Moose was talking to Gia Miller this week on the show and mentioned that both he and Maclin did, in fact, have a deal in place to work together prior to Victory Road. That didn’t turn out the way either of them planned, and they ended up at odds with each other instead. Maclin confronted Moose when he was talking shit this week.
The fight was broken up by security, and although he isn’t cleared to compete until Bound for Glory, Sami offered to be the “peacemaker” between the two and be the guest referee. Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore agreed.
