IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champion Has Been Sidelined During Recovery From Minor Procedure

Chelsea Green has been sidelined due to her recovery from a minor nasal procedure.

Chelsea is 1/2 of the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions with her best friend Deonna Purrazzo, known as VXT. They won’t the titles in the pre show at Emergence when they defeated the champs at the time, Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary.

During an appearance on the September 21 episode of GAW TV, Green noted that she’s recovering from surgery.

“We’re going for casual vibes because we are post-surgery. I got my septum put back in place, so I’ve got a little black eye here,” Green said.

She elaborated by stating that she has broken her nose multiple times in the past, and she finally decided to have it fixed.

“I broke my nose so many times, and I broke it actually before wrestling. I probably broke it like four times in wrestling, but I had broken it really bad outside of wrestling first, and it was time. Like I have a month off, it was time to get it fixed. I couldn’t breathe out this side of my nose. It got to the point where it was like normal for me,” she said.

In a tweet on September 17, Green posted a picture in which her nose is heavily bandaged.

The last time Green competed on IMPACT Wrestling television was September 8th when she defeated Taya Valkyrie.

Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo – VXT – are set to defend their titles against Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka at IMPACT Bound For Glory.
